How many people can Instow Beach Cottage accommodate?

Instow Beach Cottage can sleep up to five guests in three bedrooms. An infant in a cot is also more than welcome.

How many bedrooms are at Instow Beach Cottage?

There are three bedrooms at Instow Beach Cottage, these include a double, a twin and a single. All the bedrooms have storage space and a wash-basin.

Is the apartment dog-friendly?

Yes, a dog is more than welcome at the apartment and is charged at an additional £30. Please note dogs should not be allowed in the bedrooms or on the furniture. We also request that owners are responsible for cleaning up after their dog both in the garden and when out and about.

Is there WiFi?

Yes, WiFi is available at the apartment.

Where is the nearest pub/restaurant?

There are several places to eat in Instow, all of which are within walking distance, these include the Instow Arms and the Boathouse, which are the closest.

Where is the nearest shop?

Johns of Instow is just along the road from the apartment and is a lovely delicatessen and grocers. There is also a Tesco in the nearby village of East the Water. Further shops can be found in Bideford and Appledore.

Where is the nearest beach?

Instow beach is located opposite the apartment.

Is the beach dog-friendly?

Most of the beach is dog-friendly, however, some restrictions on a part of the beach are applied in the summer months.

Is the beach child-friendly?

Instow Beach is lovely and sandy, however, it is worth noting that the beach is dog-friendly and the water quality is questionable.

What is the garden like at the apartment?

The apartment has a private terrace area with table and chairs, steps then lead down to a small lawn sheltered by trees. Please note the garden is not fully secure, so dogs and children should be supervised at all times.

Is there off-road car parking?

Yes, Instow Beach Cottage has off-road car parking for one car, potentially two depending on their size.

How can we book?

Booking can be done either online with our booking and availability calendar or by contacting My Favourite Cottages via email or on 01271 377 432.

What do we do to secure a booking?

To secure a booking we require a 30% deposit with the outstanding balance due eight weeks prior to arrival. Please note a 2% booking fee is also applied at the time of booking.

Are short breaks allowed?

Yes, we welcome short breaks outside of the school holidays.

What facilities are available for infants?

Yes, a cot, high chair and stair-gate are provided at no additional cost.

Is the apartment disabled friendly?

To a certain extent, the apartment is suitable for less able bodied guests. There is lift access to the first floor and only a few small internal steps once inside. However, there is no shower and the rooms/doorways are not suitable for wheelchairs.
